Stealth profile

Companies see a handle like MD-4821K, what you're good at, how long you've been doing it, the kind of company you work for, your badges and when you're free. Never your name, face, contact details or employer.

Employer blocklist

Your current employer is blocked the moment you sign up. Add anyone else: the parent group, a sister company, your old boss's new startup. They can't find you or tell you're here.

Mutual reveal

Your name goes out only when you and the company both say yes. You can back out at any point before that. Every reveal is logged, and you can read the log.

Message masking

While you're still anonymous, Message Shield hides emails, phone numbers and links on both sides, so nobody gives the game away early.

Encryption

Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your background check and contract notes live apart from your profile, behind tighter locks.

Export and deletion

Download everything we hold about you, or delete your account, whenever you like. Deleting takes you out of search straight away.

Retention

We keep data only for as long as we need it to run Mondeed or meet a legal duty. Then it goes.

Technical detail

Planned

This is the design we're building to for launch. The full security overview will live in the Trust centre.

  • TLS 1.2+ in transit; AES-256 encryption at rest.
  • Identity fields, contract notes and verification reports live in a separate store from the public profile, with role-based access and audit logging.
  • Blocklist matching runs on company domains and legal-entity names, including known subsidiaries, before any search result is returned.
  • Message masking runs server-side before a message is stored or delivered.
  • Reveal events are append-only and visible to both parties.
  • Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, including backups on their normal rotation.
